oh well actually its a no risk but chlamydea even if wearing a condom sounds odd. Doesnt happen unless the condom tore. The closest i can think of related to this is her putting vaginal fluids on your wang but even that seems hard to believe. Condom failure is what im aiming for so yea thats how u got it. Low risk isnt the same as no risk
Yes NGU can be cause by normal bacteria in the mouth----but isnt oral sex with a condom very very low risk?
BLOWJOB! ngu can be caused by normal bacteria in mouth
Thanks for your input----let me give more detail just in case you had anything else to add. If not I appreciate what you have given thus far. I will take your advice concerning spouse(the 8/23/07 risk was low--but I will still let her know)
8/23/07 oral sex from a woman with a condom----------According to many post this is a very low risk--
The oral sex was the first time I had sex with anyone other than my spouse since 1996.
9/5/07 vaginal sex with my spouse
9/8/07 hand job from masseuse who masturbated(and some rubbing of penis on her inner thigh)
9/11/07 vaginal sex with a condom (possible expired or low grade condom). She also used a vibrator beforehand and her wetness was all over my scrotum afterward.
9/13/07 Nightime--Felt symptoms of tingling/burning penis/scrotum
9/14/07 Gon/Chla tested negative-----diagnosed with NGU and given 4 pills and Cipro 2/day 7 days
2 days is a very short time for NGU to appear, that incubation time would be more consistent with gonorrhea. I hate to rule out the possibility though as this whole story seems somewhat unlikely.
I guess the most likely thing would be condom failure on 8/23. Possibly the handjob from 9/8, if there really was some fluid exchange involved. But it would have to be something where she rubbed from herself, had some fluids present, and then rubbed those into you. However I guess that's possible.
NGU from "close contact" is really only possible if there was some exchange of fluids going on, whether it be oral or vaginal. Did you have unprotected "close contact" at some point? It's not clear from your story.
Now, the most important thing here is that since you were diagnosed with NGU, you should make sure your wife gets treated as well. If she doesn't, she could face health consequences, as well as being a source of reinfection for you.
The incident on 8/23/07 was oral sex with a condom on. I read NGU can be transmitted through close contact--but is 2 days enough time for NGU symptoms to show? I think she provided me with an expired or low grade condom.
So you mean on 8/23 you had oral sex with a condom? Your text is confusing, usually w/ means with and w/o means without, I don't know what w/t is supposed to mean.
If all of your exposures were protected, I honestly don't see how you could have gotten NGU. Do you think the condom might have failed in one case? Some STDs, like herpes or HPV, can be transmitted with a condom on. But NGU really cannot. This makes me think the condom failed, or I don't completely understand your story.
