Protected sex during treatment for Chlamydia

I was diagnosed with Chlamydia and was treated but during my treatment me and my fiance had PROTECTED vaginal intercourse. I didn't perform oral sex on him and didn't allow him to perform it on me, but he hadn't been treated yet.  Is it possible that I was reinfected even though we used protection and didn't participate in oral or anal activiites?  He was treated about 2 weeks after I finished my medicine, but they told him not to have unprotected or protected sex during his treatment.  I wasn't told that and as I mentioned before we haven't had any unprotected sexual contact since I was diagnosed, but I'm still worried about being reinfected since they told him to obstain from having sex until he was finished his medication.  Can someone please help me out and tell me if I should be retested.  Your responses will be greatly appreciated.

Latex condoms, when used correctly, are like 97%-99% effective.  Lets say the odds of getting Chlamydia are 1 in 10 without a condom (probably a lot less likely but lets pick a very conserative number).

With that said, your odds of getting it with a condom are probably like less than one percent (.0097 percent and even that is a high estimate).

Bottom line:

If I were you, I would not lose any sleep over it as long as you know how to use a condom correctly.
