Rash from nuva ring?

about a year ago i was tested for ganareha, clamitia, hiv and syphilis. It started because i noticed a pimple on my penis. All of the tests came out negative and a day later the pimple went away. about a month later i had unprotected sex with an individual, and later found out she was with a coupe other people too at the same time. WE broke it off and i started dating my g/f. The girl that im with now. about two months into the relationship she switched contraceptives from the pill to the nuva ring. About a month later i developed a rash on the head of my penis. I went to the hospital to get checked out and they told me it was a yeast infection. The doctor perscribed me Nystatin Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream USP. A few days later the rash went away. About two weeks ago the rash came back after having unprotected sex with my g/f. I still had a big bottle of cream left so ive been using it. The rash this time didnt appear as red as it did when I first got it. I dont know what to do there are no blisters just a minor itchy irratation. Please help me all I want is this rash to go away

nuva ring is known for causing vaginitis.  it's good that you both got tested. you both need to treat the yeast infections properly.  for you that means applying the cream a full week after the rash goes away. do not have sex again with your partner until she's completed her medication too. If she was given the diflucan pill to take, avoid sex for a week.

Sorry you did not get an answer before this, but that would have been my advice is to see a Dr for testing and your gf because chances are she had a yeast infection and was giving it to you.
