Rash? on Penis

About a week ago I noticed something on the head of my penis, right where the shaft turns into the head. The size is about 1/3rd of a cm wide, and 3/4 of a cm long.

The interesting thing is it can be anywhere from exactly the colour of my skin, hardly noticable, to a pitch, opaque white. It really depends.

I dont notice anything phyically lifting from the skin (as in it isnt really a bump, you definitely feel a change in the feeling of the skin if you brush your finger over it, however it isnt painful at all). So Im thinking it is some kind of rash?

I really looked at tons of pictures, trying to self diagnose, but I couldnt seem to find anything that resembled what I have. I originally thought it was a wart, but nothing seemed to match up, also eczema of the penis was similar, but still not exact.

Is there anyway of knowing exactly what this is?
Should panic?
Do I need to be conerned?

i think it is hpv worst case scenario.. and the spot has been there for like 5 months now... no pain or anything.... it seems to get a tad bit bigger now. and it is noticable.. but im sure if it was a chancre or herpes there would be more than one spot and there would be some pain right?

BMW's advice is horrid.  It is likely nothing more than the regular color of your penis which changes with blood flow.  If you are concerned, go to a dermatologist.  It definitely does not sound like herpes, and worst case scenario is HPV.  It is definitely not syphillis.  Syphillis causes a chancre that cannot be mistaken for what you have described.

yea i doubt its herpes too... i think if it was herpes after all of this time it would be alot worse.... it almost looks like a spot of ventiligo... no blister like form... not really spreading. i have to go get tested soon. gggreg i think you should to... to find and hopefully get rid of whatever this is.

It sounds like herpes to me, u get a lot of different types and it shows differently to, I advise you ahve a syphlis test done as it sounds like a "blister" caused by it.  It is like a round circle, not sore, but a bit darker than the colour around it, also can be slightly swolen, but only the cirle area.

I think Im in a different boat, Im not getting the "papercut look", its like... a spot of skin that is discoloured, and potentially going to be a bump.

I have basically the same problem I think. Mine looked like a tiny papercut, sometimes a little red bump. It seems to respond to polysporin for me. I was tested for everything except herpes, so thats all that worries me.
