Roof of Mouth Sore

The roof of my mouth near the back of my front teeth and then near a molar of mine has been feeling a little sore lately (and I keep rubbing it with my tongue so my tongue somewhat feels weird but I think its just the friction). There are no raised bumps or anything I can feel that I don't think is just my regular mouth structure. It's similar to the feeling you get when you burn the roof of your mouth. If I had given my boyfriend unprotected oral sex about 21 days ago, should I be concerned about STDs like herpes? I've had this feeling for a few days now and it's seriously worrying me. He has never had anything noticeable on his penis to raise suspicion that I have noticed. I posted this in the herpes forum as well, but then I had realized it was unmediated which makes me prefer to post here.

Oh and is noticed from studying the roof of my mouth there were these teeny tiny bumps and I'm not sure if they're supposed to be there
