STD in nose?

I have a small white bump that has appeared on the very inside of my left nostril.  It is attached to the side of the nose closest to the tip of the nose.  It first appeared a few months ago and my dermatologist froze it and it disappeared.  I can pick at it and white skin or tissue will come off it.  Does it sound like cancer or some sort of STD?  He seemed to imply that it was a form of HPV but a strain not related to the STD strains of HPV.  Do any STDS have this symptom?  Thanks!

If you are this concerned, ask him to biopsy it to find out for sure what it is.

Its not an std, but you can find out for sure what's causing this.

Thanks for the reassurance and advice.  I guess I will go back to him and let him freeze it again.

No, there aren't any.

Really - you've seen a doc for this, hon, and the doc gave you a diagnosis.  You don't need to worry about it.

So you don't think it is an STD?  Besides being a form of HPV (non STD type), is there any STD that causes white bumps inside your nose?

Thank you for your advice!

No, this doesn't sound like an std, and you should stop picking at it, and go back to the derm.
