STD questions

I have a few STD questions like to seek some good advice.

(a) It has been 5.5 months since the encounter, I have not experienced any sore throat or see any things unusual in the mouth or throat. Do I need to do a throat swab test for Gonorrhea and Chlamydia?

(b) Is there any test for Yeast, Trichomones, Molluscum contagiosum, crabs? If yes, can you give me the names of the tests. Can these STD present in the mouth or throat other than the genital?

(c) I was having a urine test 3 weeks after the encounter. The doctor confirmed that I have no gonorrhea and chamlydia by looking at the urine test result. Do I need to perform another urine test after 5.5 months or a genital swab test to reconfirm? Is 3 weeks urine test good enough?

(d) I have a HIV test done at 88 days after the encounter. Is the result conclusive? Do I need to do another HIV test after 5.5 months?

(e) My VDRL test showed non reactive. If my throat and mouth has Syphilis, does it reflect in the VDRL blood test? Is there any mouth / throat test for Syphilis in the mouth or throat?

Thank you.

This will have to be the last post.

Yes, trich is an std, and you don't have it.

All of your tests are fine - they are done at an appropriate time frame, and are all negative.  You do not have an std.  If all you did was oral, you didn't need most of these tests, anyway.

Honestly, it is time to move on.  If you can't, seek some counseling, please.

Sorry, I have one more question.

I have tested for the following:

(a) HIV - negative - 5.5 months
(b) C&S Thoart swab - negative - 5.5 months (according to doctor - this is for gonorrhea throat test)
(c) ERS - negative - 5.5 months (according to doctor - once ERS test is negative, then I have no infection - no gonorrhea , no syphilis - how accurate is this sentence??)
(d) VDRL - negative - 2 month
(e) IGG 2 Herpes - negative - 2 month
(f) Hepatitis B - negative - 3 weeks
(g) Urine test - negative - 3 weeks (according to laboratory's technician - white blood cell is normal - no gonorrhea and chlamydia)

How accurate is the above tests? Do I need to retest again?

Is there any test for Trichomonas? I saw my urine test, there is a word called 'Trichomonas' and is within the normal range of reading. Is this 'Trichomonas is the same as the one group under as std?

Any other tests I need to perform??? Please advise??? Any other std which are not included in the above tests?

OK you have GOT to stop worrying about this.  In 28 posts, we have not managed to convey that you

You can test for NGU with urine, but you have no symptoms.  Did you receive oral sex or just give it?  If you haven't received oral, there is NO need to test for NGU.

Its been 5.5 months.  You have NO symptoms.  You have had a throat culture that was negative.  Its really time to move on.  YOU DID NOT get an std from this, which is not surprising, as its not all that common to get an std from cunnilingus.

If you can't move on, then its time to seek some help for that - your fear is driving this, not logic.  I say this with kindness, not criticism.

What kind of symptoms can NGU at the penis like?

Any picture available from the internet showing NGU?

There is no blood or urine test available for NGU?

So, NGU will not infect the mouth and throat?

So, my VDRL test at 2.5 months post exposure should be covered the penis, mouth and throat?

Syphilis testing would find it anywhere in your body.

NGU would just effect your penis. So if you had it you would have symptoms through your penis. The test would be a swab test, but without symptoms no need to test.

Giving and receiving unprotected oral sex with a woman.

I understand that there is risk for syphilis, gonorrhea, NGU and HSV 1

Can VDRL test detects syphilis in the mouth and throat?

Is there any test for NGU in the mouth, throat and genital? If yes, what is the name of the test available? Please let me know.

Thanks

No, this isn't an std.   You only gave oral sex to a woman, and the symptoms of any std that you get would NOT be on your hand.

You have a very low chance of getting anything from giving a woman oral sex.  Its time to move on.

After approximately 20 days from the exposure, I have a red dot at the back of my palm. I used finger nail to scratch the small red dot, the red dot became a dark grey dot (size around 0.5cm diameter). Till todate, after 5 month, if I use finger nail to scratch it, the outer skin peeled off, the grey dot are rough. It can't go back to the original skin complexion.

Is this std? Is this contagious? I have fingering her virginal. Is this an std pass to the back of my palm?

No, this isn't an std.  Since it hasn't healed in 2-3 weeks, you might see your doctor about it.

2-3 week ago, a small piece of skin (size 0.5cm diameter) is torn from my right hand thumb. Till to-date, the skin is still very rough and unable to turn back to normal palm skin condition.

Is this a std which I got it from my exposure 5.5 months ago?

And, is there any std could give the palm a blister (no pain and no itchy) after a few hours from the exposure?

HPV can sometimes take years to show, but it is so unlikely that you would ever get oral hpv that you really just need to stop worrying.

You won't recognize oral type 16 - it wouldn't give any symptoms.

Really, its ok to let go and move on from this.

Now is already 6 month from the exposure.

What is the likely / normal time frame for Oral HPV to develop?

Can I say that Oral Wart HPV is unlikely to form?

How to recongise the symptom if contracted Oral HPV Type 16?

The most common type of HPV in the mouth is type 16, and that wouldn't cause warts.

You can choose to worry if you want, but really - having oral warts is very uncommon.

There's no test for it anyway, so its just going to have to be something you kep an eye on, but don't obsess over.

I saw some pictures in the internet showing visible wart (both at the lip and inside the mouth).

Very worried about all these.

Perform oral sex on female, what is the risk of getting HPV (high and low risk).

It is already after almost 6 month from the exposure, everything seems alright. I heard HPV will appear very late, even more than 6 months, and there is no test for man.

The C and S is for culture and sensitivity.  This means they cultured the throat and let it grow to see if any bacteria developed.  The sensitivity would have given a list of meds you could take to cure whatever was found.

Yes, that's a fine test for gonorrhea in the throat.

Well, I don't know how true that is about the ESR, but without symptoms, etc., I would feel very confident that you don't have anything.

Seriously, you can really relax now, ok?

This morning I have tested for ESR and the result is negative.

According to the doctor, once ESR is negative, I will not have any STD. Is it true?

I am still waiting for the throat swab test result and will be out by this Saturday.

I am worried about gonorrhea and HPV by giving oral sex to the female.

What are the chances of getting gonorrhea and HPV? It is already 5.5 months and my mouth, tonsil and throat still look normal, nothing unusal, no sore throat. 2 months ago, I have 2-3 ulcers, but they were cleared after about a week.
