STD risk

Good Day to everyone,

63 days ago to be exact, I am a male who received an oral sex from a guy whose STD status was unknown. I was the one who insert my penis into his mouth and I did cum twice inside him because he performed it consecutively around 30 mins on me. He swallowed my cum and also lick my nipples and massage my anus and light kissing. Question is what are the STDs i may acquire?.. Went to a urologist around 2 weeks after exposure, he gave me bioclavid twice a day for a week and after that told me that i was going to be okay and that i should worry no more.. No symptoms such as discharging or warts.. can you guide me on what test i need to do? thank you

Good day to everyone,

im quite worried as of now if i may have caught herpes because today i noticed some little dots on my penis around 4-5 and its quite itchy.. i wash it soap and water and thankfully the itch have gone away for now.. after almost 2 mos of the encounter is it possible that only now the herpes may manifest? or is it just like jock itch? thank you

no reason to think this is a std. If you can't let that fear go, ask for a full std screening to be done for peace of mind.

Vance, thank you for your answer.. i read some articles telling that STDs are sometimes asymptomatic,. does that mean it rarely happens to be asymptomatic?

i remember the doctor said that the mild infection i got was probably due to bacteria that lives in the mouth which may have transferred into my penis that is why he gave me antibiotics as mention above.. based on your answers, does this mean that oral sex has a low risk of acquiring STDs? i have convinced myself already that no risk on hiv by receiving oral sex..

depends what testing is done .

no reason to think this is a std based on the encounter you posted about.

Thank you grace, is it possible to detect STDs such as gonorrhea, ngu and chlamydia by the procedure of the prostate massage? though he told me after the treatment that i should not be worried about any STD's, here i am still asking questions to calm my anxiety

i know its a stupid thing i did, no basic urine testing done but the doctor did extract something in my penis, i dont know what the procedure is called but the doctor inserted his finger in my anus and pressed some glands and a clear liquid came out then he look at it under a microscope and told me that there is a mild infection though nothing serious and prescribe me some medication.. should i still be worried?

if you had contracted herpes from oral sex, you would've had very obvious symptoms and you've had basically none.

the odds of contracting syphilis in general are very low and from oral sex only, even lower yet.

did they do any  basic urine testing when you were seen?

the rule of thumb is, if your pants are off, a condom should be on. protect yourself in the future so you don't have to test frequently and have less reason to worry :)

i did go to a urologist because i have a condition called varicocele and because after that incident, my testicles have been more sensitive that i began to feel pain around the area.. should i have not gone to a urologist? so if there is no symptoms on oral sex, i dont need any std testing done? like herpes and syphilis? i have been abstaining since that incident.. Thank you

You don't need any tests. Why did you go to a uriologist?
Oral sex is low risk and without symptoms we see no reason for testing.
