STD symptoms for both partners? HELP!!!!!!!!!!

If someone has an STD or STI, or some other infection, and 2 people have unprotected sex( one person clean, the other infected), do both of the people have symptoms?
Or can one person have symptoms, and the other person not have them?

I had unprotected sex about 7 months ago and about a week after sex, i experienced penis, tip of penis, pain and testicular pain..
now, i have pelvis pain, along with penis and testicular pain...
We used body soap because we didn't have any lube, and i think it might be a bacterial infection from that?
i went to the doctor and tested negative for chlymydia and gonorrhea (about 1.5-2 months after the incident)

I believe my partner when she said she got tested and was clean, and i dont think she has any symptoms present now, but i do...

sometimes i don't have symptoms for a week, then sometimes they come back...

I think about this everyday, and am deeply worried:(
please help, what are your thoughts? :(

I re-read your post and you tested negative for gonorrhea and chlymida. You can't have either one if you are negative. And STD symptoms do not come and go like you are talking about.
See a Dr for an exam if you are feeling pain, but you do not have gonorrhea or chlymida.

If the STI is symptomatic, yes generally symptoms would be passed on, body soap is an awful lube it dries and irritates, however you know this already.
