STD window period

Hi,

I received an unprotect fellatio 14 weeks ago and had vaginal protected sex.

I tested for Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea at 8 weeks - negative is such test conclusive or I have to re-test. . are there other STDs I should test for?

I tested also for HPV, CMV and HSP at 3 months are these conclusive?

Thanks

the hpv testing you had done wasn't accurate at all.

Thank you for your reply.

no it was only blood testing by PCR. I didn't have any warts on my penis.

we consider transmission of htlv to be very similar to hiv. oral sex isn't thought to be a real risk.

did they use emory paper on your penis and send that out for hpv testing?

Thank you for your reply Grace.  do you know if HTLV is easily transmitted through an unprotected fellatio received, it was a sex worker from eastern europe.

With regard to HPV test I did one called HPV (DNA) - PCR that was kind of expensive can it be reliable.

Thanks.

we don't have commercially available hpv tests for males to recommend.

you have multiple posts now on the forum. it helps us help you  better and wastes our time less when you just keep adding to the same post repeatedly with updates and questions. thank you for your future cooperation with this so that we can continue to help you on this forum.

we don't consider cmv a std. it's a common contact infection that many of us contract before we even step foot into grade school and by the time we hit our 40's, majority of us have it.  we don't include it in our routine std testing recommendations.

Thank you for your reply Vance.

I just read that for Syphilis on some sites that it is 3 months to be conclusive.
would you know if for hepatitis B,  2 months is ok (antigen and antibodies)

CMV = Cytomegalovirus

Thanks
