STI from cunnilingus

About four days ago I gave brief unprotected cunnilingus to an escort. She is an independent and mature escort, not a street CSW etc, and makes a point of saying that she has monthly seal health checks. Anyway, the next morning I felt some discomfort in my throat - to be honest I think I even noticed it later the day of the contact. Since then it has got a bit sorer and looking inside there are clear white patches on the soft palate and side of mouth at the back. I've also had earache on the same side where the main white patch is. My daughter has had a sore throat, earache and chesty cough recently.

I'm going to get myself tested for throat gonorrhoea and chlamydia - do I need to wait a week post encounter as some sites suggest or does the fact that the white spots are there mean a valid swab can be taken? How worried should I be about STI here?

You are at no risk for HIV . Hiv is contracted through unprotected anal or vaginal sex .

Mkmee is correct , there is no Sti that will present the same day. It's far more likely that you have a viral or bacterial infection similar to your daughter. The gono of the throat is very unlikely .. Oral sex is as described in your encounter is relatively low risk. If I were you I would be seen by a doctor for your throat.. Most likely a common bug such as siniitus or strep etc.. Gono can be detected in testing fairly quickly.

They say it takes 2 weeks before testing and next day symptoms are impossible

Thanks. Should I consider an HIV test too?
