Scaly, wrinkled, skin colored bumps on head of penis

Hi my problem is:

Around two months ago I had unprotected sex with a woman(she is a mother of 3) and it was my only sexual interaction, so then i left out of town for Christmas, throughout December I started to itch on the forskin of the penis, my guess was that where I lived was hot, humid, and well I was always sleeping and waking up sweaty, which my thoughts were that it was the environment I was that caused me to itch and i was always used to the airconditioning and not waking up or sleeping sweaty.

I have returned home from my holiday vacation and I wasnt itching a lot, like it was going away, i was relieved, or so i thought. My head kept clouding my thoughts that i had some sort of STD, and well I was so focused about it that I couldnt concentrate on other important things.

Then my thoughts got worse when I started feeling discomfort on the head of my penis, burning sensation on the tip and a bit of itchiness, and also burning sensation when i was urinating.

I went to my doctor and he prescribed me Clarithromycin, i was honest to him and told him everything, so he prescribed it to me, the pills were strong but it was worth it.

But I noticed that the head of my penis looked different, started to become scaly, and wrinkled, sometimes i get worried when i masturbate or when i get erect i see small skin like bumps, which started to worry me, i went back to my doctor and i asked if he could give me some sort of test, he did a Culture, or he took a swab in the opening of my penis, or were I urinate.

I took the pills for ten days, 2 pills every morning, he did the Culture in the 5th day i was taking the pills.

I came back right after my medication was finished, it still looked the same, but i went to my doc's office to see my results from the Culture. The Result was: Growth of Normal Urogenital Flora.

I would think that would put me at ease, but still i check my penis and it still looks scaly, or wrinkled, and with the pin sized bumps.

a couple days ago i encountered a new problem, on the opening of my penis or the hole where i urinate had like a swollen bump, bigger then the ones around the head of my penis, i got scared and didnt know what to do, (oh and i forgot to mention after the pills i started using the Lotrimin af cream, and the doc recommended me to have my blood tested for STDs or AIDs) But yeah after i saw the swollen bump i got really worried, but I saw it swollen in the morning, i checked like in the afternoon, and i deflated somehow, it was weird but its not swollen like that day.

everyday i still see till this day as im typing.

Here is what im thinking: The culture test says everything is normal so that gives me a bit of less worried, its been 50 days since i had sex, with just one woman, which she has 3 perfectly healthy kids, I dont feel any burning sensation, just a bit when im urinating, my penis is still lookes like how i described, scaly, wrinkled, full of pin sized bumps, and im now worried about the swelling of the opening of my penis, where i urinate.

1. Cud it be an STD starting to grow?
2. Could it be penis fungus?, possibly from masturbating a lot( i started doing it the day after i had sex with the woman) or from when i was out of town, which was hot, humid, and i was sweaty all the time.
3.Could it be Urinary Track Infection?
4.What do you think it could be?

please help, Jose

Same issue here fellas'. My thoughts are this is HSV1 (herpes). I haven't been confirmed via blood yet (all negative through 12 weeks), but my penis, specifically my head never looked like this before an encounter with a woman hsv1 positive. Something isn't right and no doctor can figure out my symptoms or what is causing the scaly appearance of my head and tiny skin colors dots on the head.

I remember my penis used to look so healthy. Any update from anyone. Is herpes the culprit?

Same issue here..  Antibiotics don't work..  Dermatology doc said possible HPV but a biopsy couldn't type anything and HPV was negative.. Same scaly wrinkled skin with a row of tiny bumps on one side and nothing.. Aldara didn't work either..  Cryotherapy doesn't do much..  I've been struggling with this for 2 yrs now.  Any updates or info anyone?

Hey this is a long time after your discussions, but I believe I am having the same problem. Can you give me an update? Has it gotten any better/worse over these past two years? I would really appreciate a reply because as you know, this will run your life.

Thanks

I am having the same EXACT symptoms.  My doc said fungal infection and gave me nystatin cream and it did nothing then she gave me Diflucan and also nothing. I had an accompanying rash on scrotum which was clear in no time using 1%HydaCort.  I have been tested for lots of things all negative including HIV.  I am not very sexually active when I am I am very safe.

The skin on the head of my penis is also scaly and has pin sized bumps.  However the first time I took Diflucan these bumps became very red?! But did not go away.  My partner has been tested as well ALL NEG... wtf is going on?

I also had a swollen meatus for about 15min then it went away and hasn't been back since.  I am very confused and starting to get worried.  Please keep posting I am seeing my doc on tomorrow I will keep updating

How old are you?  If you are a teen or older, and since you are sexually active, its time to get an adult doctor, not a pediatrician.  I'd suggest a urologist.

Hi its me, its also been a while, but i got the results and all of it was clear which is a big relief thank god. But i still have signs of an infection like in the urethra and sometimes the tip of the head of the penis irritates me, the doctors recommended me to see a urologist or pediatritian, and also a bit of chaffing.

Did you do any other testing than blood work?

Well new update: I finally went to an STD office/ clinic, and they checked me out right, so the doctor says it could be a bacteria causing all of this and so she prescribed me some pills which are Doxycycline Hyclate, wish she said should take out the bacteria forming down there, hopefully all goes well.

And just in case I took the blood test to check if I have anything, once again, I pray to god it comes out clean and alright.

Jose.

I don't think you had anything to worry about in the first place, and since she is std free (she is only "clean" if she showers), its a very good sign that you don't have anything, unless you've had other encounters.

Sometimes people with stds get no symptoms, and sometimes they get mild or severe ones - there's no way anyone can diagnose an std or give you the likelihood of one based on symptoms alone.

Alright, since she is clean that means i shudnt worrty about STDs right, or STIs, which cud mean its an infection i developed right?

Oh and do symptoms of std's or sti's are long lasting, meaning do i keep feeling it everyday? because i hardly notice them, sometimes i do, but it doesnt hurt much it just bothers me.

I still need to get blood test :/ but getting an appointment is a pain in the butt!

Well to update this situation of mines, the woman i had unprotected sex with is getting tested, and for the infections, she had a vaginal test and Gon. and Clamidia, which came out negative (thank God). I will receive the blood test report tomorrow hopefully all is well. If everything comes out negative then there is something else conjuring this infection.

It might be yeast.

Is there an std clinic near you?  A Planned Parenthood?  You can try either of those and get in much faster.

Do you think it can be a yeast infection?
I had a small discharge, all I'm hoping for is nothing serious like an STD.
I'm still posting because I wasnt able to get an appointment yet, its freaking booked, just my luck, and the more i keep loosing my mind.
And do the cultures really help?getting a swab and got results negative?

If it doesn't clear up, let your doctor know.  There has been some resistance to the over the counter creams, and you might need a prescription.
