Small blisters on inner labia?? Please help!

I started noticing symptoms a week ago when my what I thought was my clitoris seemed sensitive.  Three days ago, the sensation became discomfort and I took a detailed look in the mirror at my vulva.  Nothing seemed wrong except maybe some slight redness around my clitoral and urethra area.  The day after, I discovered that I got a burning sensation when urinating.  Upon further inspection, I discovered what looked like a small pimple on my inner labia, parallel to my urethra opening.  It was very sensitive to the touch (this was what i was feeling earlier in the week).  However, the 'pimple' didnt look like it was filled with fluid, just raised and tender. By the next day, I woke up in pain, and found that the pimple had multiplied!  I now have 6-8 small blisters along my inner labia.  They hurt like hell, and I just noticed I have a few on my outer labia as well!!!  They look like they have burst (though I have not noticed Any discharge or pus at all) and are open and I now have small circles of exposed tissue on my inner labia where these blisters are.
I have only had one partner in the past 2 years.  I just got checked for a full STD panel a month ago, and it all came back negative.  However, i have never had symptoms like this before, and am very, very scared I may have herpes or HPV (though i got the gardisil shots).  It is so uncomfortable now that I have resorted to putting Vaseline on my labia to calm the painfullness!  Does anyone know what this may be??  I have an appointment to see my doctor in two days, but im starting to wonder if I can wait that long.  I am petrified and have no idea what this could be!!  Please someone respond with thoughts!

genital herpes can lie dormant for many years and then pop up later- I had this experience myself- when I am stressed it flares and only in one tiny area but the pain I felt from it I knew it was herpes- my gyn said looks fine but I finally MADE him test the blister and he said u were right it is.. HPV causes warts that dont hurt they turn white when u apply vinegar

And I need to add...even if you've had recent STD testing, herpes antibodies tests are not included in that.  Please make sure that you always request one when tested, or at least every 6 months or so.  Knowledge is power and safety.

This was an old topic, so, I'm not sure if anyone will respond.  The symptoms she's having in these posts are of herpes.

Please head over to the herpes forum if you haven't already.

Don't freak out right now.  I know it's scary.  But, if you are having the same symptoms, you should get to the Dr as soon as possible and have the lesions tested.  Best results are within 48 hours of the outbreak.  Also request a herpes antibodies blood test.  And even if it shows up as a negative, you will have to abstain from any sexual activity for 4 months and get another blood test.

Now...even if your partner does not have genital herpes, herpes on the mouth or face can also pass genitally.  The highest rates of genital herpes being diagnosed right now are of type 1 b/c of people not knowing that cold sores or fever blisters are herpes and it can be and is often passed to the genital region.

If it turns out that you do have herpes, you're not alone.  1 in 4 of us have it.  Including myself.

Its been 2 full days that Ive been on antibiotics and herpes treatment.  Today I woke up and my whole vulva is swollen.  My inner labia are basically swollen shut, and im getting this bloody, yucky discharge.  The blisters/sores dont really look like sores anymore.  They have moved far into the crevice inside of my labia, and look more like open, exposed tissue now.  I called my doctor because I was concerned that after 2 days I didnt seem to be substancially getting better.  She said that if if were a bacterial infection, she would have expected better improvement by now.  Having said that, she said there isnt too much else to do besides wait for the test results.
My gland is still swollen and protruding...though not quite as much.  It still hurts like the devil to pee.  Shouldent I be getting better by now?  What is going on?!  Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

I know this is a herpes question...but do herpe sores tend to bleed and produce a discharge?

Well since the discharge has turned bloody you might want to call your Dr. I don't think it is anything you should get worked up or worried about, but maybe he can give you something to help that.

Day 2 of being on antibiotics and herpes treatment.  The sores seem better, and I havent noticed any new ones.  I am however getting a bloody discharge now, which is pretty scary.  I cant tell if it coming from my vagina, or from the sores on the inside of my labia (which are now pretty swollen and smushed together).  Is this a normal??  How long until I should call my doctor?

These symptoms keep getting worse!  Now I am getting alot of very fluid yellow/white clowdy discharge.  Ive taken 2 doses of the perscriptions my Doc wrote me:
1. IC Flamciclovir
2. IC Cedfadroxil

Is this much fluid discharge normal?  Is it more indicative of a bacterial infection perhaps?

P.S.  Vance2335...thanks for responding to my questions....its good to get some feedback. Especially with something so scary as a possible STD.

Let me lay out the time table for STD testing this should answer your question.
Gonorrhea/Chlymida-urine test 1 week post exposure
Syphilis-blood test 6 weeks post exposure
HIV-blood test 3 months post exposure
Herpes-blood test 4 months post exposure

These time frames will give you 100% conclusive results, anything before that might not show the infection.

as a side note....the reason i got tested in march is beacuse I had unprotected sex with the 'new boyfriend' once.  I immediatly made an appointment with my doctor for 12 days later.  This is when I gte the bloodworup done.  Despite the fact that it all came back negative, is it possible that there was a latency period where I may have been infected/exposed to herpes or something else....and that it didnt immediatly come up in the STD panel because it was too close together?  Could what I have now be due to that one time unprotected sex prior to the negative STD results??

Yes a bacterial infection can, so can irritation.
You can still get herpes even when using a condom, it decreases the risk but there is still a small one.
If your BF tests now for gential herpes then you will know if you have herpes or not.

No, my BF did not get tested (hes a New BF, weve only been seeing each other for about 3-4 months).  I have not had any other sexual exposure to potential STDs.  We have however, used condoms every single time with intercourse.  It is possible that he has been infected with something, and has passed it along to me.
Im praying this is some type of bacterial infection, rather than herpes.  But can a 'bacterial' infection give you such similar sypmtoms to herpes?
blisters on labia
swollen gland on groin area
very painful urination
discharge

all herpes questions should be posted in ther herpes community, see the link above.

if you were tested in march then chances are it is not a STD. did your bf also test?

Last night, i noticed a marble sized bump protruding from my groin area along my bikini line.  My friend who is a nurse said it looked like a swollen lynphnode.  I also started getting an unusual, very liquid discharge from my vagina.  The blisters are now all open, exposed and some are even mildly bleeding....This is SO scary!!!!!
I went to see my doctor this morning.  She thinks its either genital herpes, or some type of bacterial infection.  She wrote me a perscription for both, along with a numbing ointment for the blisters.  I wont get the test results back intil early next week.  The suspence is driving me crazy though!!  I dont understand how this could have happened to me.  I got a full STD panel done in march, and it all came back negative.  Since, ive only slept with my boyfriend, and we use condoms every time.
Does this still sound like Herpes to everyone??  i know im grasping at straws, but I am completly petrified, in a ton of pain, confused, and worried about the results.  Any thoughts from anyone concerning what this could be??

you for sure need to see the doctor.  It sounds like HSV2, they generally come in clusters and can have multiple sites of outbreaks.

they are very uncomfortable and painful at times...

get to doc as soon as you can

also try not to touch the bumps then touch other mucus membranes (eyes, lips, mouth, genitals, etc..), just in case it is herpes.

Keep us posted, results are crucial to others looking for answers similar to there situation as well.
