Std or no StD?

About 2 weeks ago, I(female) had unprotected sex with my partner. After 1 week of being sexual active, I noticed whitish yellow discharge without any smell and burning when urinating. I went to get tested for STDs and the results are not back. While waiting for the results, my doctor prescribed single dose of azithromycin. It has been a week since i took azithromycin. The burning has stopped as well as the discharge. But today I noticed a brown bloody discharge which is watery. I am super scared and would like to know what to do while I wait for my results. It will take another week to get them. My partner had been tested four months ago and all was negative. Therefore he claims he is clean. I have been sick with a cold and cough for the past one week. Please help me! Do I need to take another test or treatment while I wait?  I do not want the bacteria to spread while I wait. And I have tested negative for HIV and trichomoniasis.

Thank you for replying. I have not had any sexual contact for the past 2 weeks. Not even during the 7 days after treatment. But I am worried about the bloody discharge. This morning instead of the discharge I saw some blood.

If it was clamydia or gonorrhoea, your doctor gave you the medicine to treat it. So you would be clear after 7 days, as soon as you didn't have any sexual contact during this 7 days after treatment. If you have sexual contact you could get reinfected. There's nothing to be done now for while you wait. I know it's hard, but keep calm and all will be fine.
