Symptoms, or something else? Lots of Questions.

Hello!

I've just recently in last August (2007) begun to be sexually active. I've had sex about 4 times, with three different partners. I've always had protected sex, and most didn't even last long.

On the top of my slit (clitoral hood mostly.) There is a small/medium size cluster of pimple like bumps. They do not turn into sores, nor do they get abnormally shaped in anyway. They look like under developed zits if anything. I have tried to pop them, and only a little of white stuff comes out somtimes, but the bumps stays. They do not "head" really like a zit on someone's face would. They are just tiny bumps. (They are scarce between the outer and inner lips as well.) I do not have any pain of urination, or harsh discharge or anything like that. I have never been in pain with these bumps, and I haven't had any severe itching with them. (Actually, I think I've actually seen these bumps before I was sexually active.)

I've looked at pictures of Herpes and have ruled them out. (These pimples/bumps are on-going. I have never had a sore.) With no discharge and what not, I'm not seeing a bacterial infection such as Chlamydia. The ones I considered hardcore were Gentile Warts. But the bumps haven't spread anywhere else on my gentiles or anus, nor do they get as abnormal and irregular as warts from what I've seen. I also considered Molluscum, and seeing diagnostic pictures my bumps seem to not go through the three stages except for the first, which is that it looks like teenage acne most like. (But I don't know for sure still, right? Ha.)

They are most bothersome to look at than anything.

I know you cannot diagnose over the internet, but I would be glad if you'd answer my questions!
1. Am I showing symptoms of an STD?
2. If I am showing symptoms of an STD, which ones should I consider?
3. Is it possibly to get "acne" on your vagina?
4. If so, what can I do to treat this "acne" on my vagina?
5. Or can there be any other causes for these bumps on my vagina?
6. I'm planning to see a OBGYN for birth control for my periods in a few days. I am underaged, and if I ask her to maybe have a look at these bumps, is it confidential from my parents? Even if I have to recieve treatment?

If you have anymore input for me, I'd be pleased! This is really stressing me out and confusing me.

Thank you for your time!

Those bumps you are talking about are just small glands that secrete the liquid that your vagina lubricates with when you become aroused. I went to an OBGYN concerning the same bumps - it's just a normal part of your anatomy!

You will only be able to get an accurate diagnosis by seeing a healthcare provider.  If you remember these "bumps" before you became sexually active, there's a good chance they are not genital warts.  However, you need to have these bumps examined just to be sure.
1.  I don't know, the fact that white stuff comes out when you squeeze the bump makes me think it might be a sebaceous cyst or something of that nature...but again, you can't rule out STD until you have been checked out.
2.  Maybe genital warts.
3.  It's possible to get clogged pores and mucous cysts.
4.  You should talk to you doctor about this.
5.  STDs are not the only causes for genital "bumps."
6.  Yes, it should be confidential.

I wouldn't stress out too much until you find out what's going on - the sooner, the better.
Good luck,
Em
