Testicular Ache

Hi
A couple of weeks ago i got diagnosed with NSU, symptoms were frequent urge to urinate some discharge and mild discomfort urinating. The tests came back showing negative for chlamydia gonhorrea etc..as expected, my long term partner got tested and was negative too. I was given 1g azithromycin and its stopped the discharge though i still have occasional periods where frequent urge to urinate is a problem. Basically i thought episode over, and like grace suggested its just bad luck with normal flora etc.

Since yesterday though im getting ...an 'ache' in my testicles its not severe, its fairly mild- in fact to be honest, just enough to remind me its there.

I dont know if im being more 'aware' of normal body sensations because i was a bit freaked over NSU. But does all this sound a bit like prostasis rather than an STD?. The GUM clinic said to go back if symptoms came back, but i dont know if im being a bit daft going back to tell them my testicles ache a bit!. It seems a big coincedence that im getting it just after NSU though.

Very unsure what to do about it, ive checked for lumps, cant find any and im usually in good health.

Thanks.

Chances are that it is you being more aware/your mind making you think something is there when it is not.
It's never a bad idea to do a follow up. But try this first. Give it 1 week and do your best not to think about it and tell yourself that there is no pain. I know sounds dumb but give it a shot. If the pain gets worse then go back sooner, if the pain remains then go back. If the pain goes away then you know it was just mental.
