Tingling

ptw
Hiya

I have been with a new partner for a few months now, vaginal sex is protected but we havent used protection for oral sex (both ways).

I last saw her a week ago for the weekend, and as she was on her period she just gave me oral a few times and hand relief a couple of times :- but was fairly rough with the hands. At the time i felt a little soreness afterwards

Since a few days later, ive felt an itchy tingling mainly in the glans- no noticable pain urinating, but some discomfort which seems worse at night.

Would this be indicative of some sort of rubbing damage rather than signs of an underlying infection?.
Ive been of a mind to see if it goes on its own..there are no noticeable lumps or marks.

Thanks.

Thanks vance, seeing my GP this afternoon

had an awkward conversation with my girlfriend today:- basically asked if she ever had cold sores

apparently she has had cold sores in the past, but hasnt had an outbreak for a long time, and said she would obviously tell me if she felt warning signs

she is quite distressed at the idea of having given me anything (though i didnt accuse her) and worrying about it affecting the relationship..guess i should have waited till after the docs.

Thanks again.

Well herpes does not spread through your body so if you did get it you would notice the symptoms in the specific area you got it.

I think that it is probably nothing, but I would advise to see your Dr. You should also talk to your partner because for all you know that is the source of the infection if you have herpes.

Hiya
Well ive left it a few days now, and..its strange the tingling is still there - in the morning its almost noticeable, whereas at night its quite uncomfortable.

Ive also had tingling in my face and a pimple above my lip ffrom yesterday morning  , and my eyes are very watery i have a small ulcer inside my mouth, but have had those before cordysol usually clears that up quickly.

Ive made an appointment to see my GP ..reading on here this sounds like herpes though?. I dont know if its possible to get symptoms in genitals, eyes and lip at the same time?. Oerhaps by inadvertently spreading it myself?.

It may be anxiety is making me notice things id normally ignore, i am going to the docs but this has got me quite stressed, ive never even had a coldsore before so dont know if the pimple (which i got yesterday) is a herpes blister..it doesnt hurt and i cant see any blistering on it.

Sorry for such a long post, im just quite stressed about this, and already going through the process of telling my partner in my mind etc.

I'd be inclined to let it be for a few days too, as it could just be irritation.

If its not better in a few days, though, make sure to make an appt with your doctor or go to an std clinic.
