Untreatable Yeast Infection?

Hello,

I apologize if this is a post that was already recently added or I should have reposted an earlier question I had a month ago. I figured just submitting a new question would suffice. Anyway, I have had this issue with the tip of my penis for over 2 months now. The tip of my penis is red in certain areas (almost scaly at times) with a white blotchy area on the right side of it. This particular white blotchy spot is not large and is circular for the most part ( it seems to have other smaller satellite blotches near it as well). Whenever my skin blushes the blotch goes away and becomes flush with the color of my skin. I do have pain when I urinate on some occasions if the stream of urine is not forceful enough. I got a full UTI test and whatever else they can pick up through urine and my doctor said it was clean.  He also diagnosed me with a yeast infection. Apparently the symptoms matched. I got it from a girl who unknowingly had a yeast infection while I was on an antibiotic known as Augmentin for a foot injury (which apparently made me vulnerable to contracting a yeast infection). He put me on dyflucan and over the counter topical cream. The dyflucan was supposed to also re stabilize my stomach bacteria because I was having horrible stomach cramps possibly due to the augmentin and the yeast infection apparently. Weeks passed and my stomach cramps subsided but not the issue with my penis. The same symptoms are still there and I am now on a prescription strength cream known as Oxistat. I have been on this for over a week now with no noticeable signs of it clearing up. I am not killing myself over this just because it truly does seem like a yeast infection, but, I just wanted to see what other people had to say. The only thing that bothers me is the fact if it is something so simple, why is it being such a pain in the butt. If anyone has anything to say at all, please comment!

Thank you very much:)

yeah it really is possibly one of the most annoying things in my life right now. Regardless of failure of treatment nothing has seemed to work. That just doesn't seem right. What else could it be, regarding my symptoms?

If this doesn't clear up within a couple of days - consult a dermatologist for further evaluation of your rash.

Sometimes fungal infections can be a booger to get rid of.
