What Is This?
I had unprotected a year ago with a guy who I found out later was sleeping around at the time. We both got chlamydia-like symptoms at around the same time. We both took medication. His cleared up. But over the next year I kept having symptoms: swelling, pain during sex, discharge, itching. Doctors think it's fungal and have given me several treatments, none of which have worked. They are not sure what it is. I'm not sure what to do. What could this be?
since you had unprotected sex, did you follow up with proper testing for ALL std's, including herpes testing? also were they done at the right times?
when you are seen for your symptoms, do your providers do proper testing for vaginal infections or just visually diagnose you?

I have the same sympthoms nd also had that std , took the meds but still ot the same problems !
