Im going to see a consultant at my gum clinic on monday, Im worried that theyll say its nothing and thats its all in my head. Help please

Grace the steroid cream is not working, It says use a maximum for a week. Can I stop using it for a few days then use it again for another week? Also what other OTC creams can i buy for this pigmentation? Steroid cream doesnt seem to be helping.....
Going to buy some OTC steroid cream, How long do I apply it for because ive read its bad for the skin? If that doesnt cure it, Im not going to know what else to do.

Grace and Vance, its helped my itchy genitals, but my penis head still feels bruised and still has the yellow spot there, Ive used the cream for 2 weeks now, its really really annoying me that Ive still not been diagnosed.?
Grace I just took 4.5g of l-arginine and 10 minutes later I have the same leg pain I had a few months ago which I believe was due to high amount of stress and anxiety and I have lower back pain. Ive read that arginine can cause herpes outbreaks, so me getting leg pain and bad back 10 minutes after taking it could be an outbreak coming on?
The rash is still coming and going Grace, today it has come and gone...The cream has stopped my itchy groin and testicles, but still have the rash on penis glans and still feels as if it bruised...? If its not fungal what other things could it be?
OK Grace if its not gone by monday night ill seek further advice, I really do hope I havent been mis-diagnosed, they wouldnt of prescribed me anti-fungal cream for no reason right? Also what does hydrocortisone cream do as my cream contains that aswell?
you've had this rash for awhile now. be patient. if it's not showing improvement after a week, call the clinic and ask for further advice.
Just got back from gum clinic and was told that its the chemicals in the washing powder.....LOL and was prescribed Canesten cream:
Clotrimazole 1% w/w
Hydrocortisone 1% w/w

gum clinic will take care of fungal infections for you too. they handle everything down yonder as far as I understand.
Ill post what he tells me tommorow, and Grace in the uk would they prescribe me something at the gum clinic or would they then refer me to my gp? For instance if it was jock itch would they send me to my gp because its not a std?
you've had multiple posts now on the herpes forum about your situation. You won't suddenly get different answers over here. really as I've said before, unless you get + test results, really nothing else we could possibly add to help you at this point.

Ok thank you he said it could be yeast fungal friction etc.... Havent had any obvious herpes symptoms (No blisters, swollen glands) I just hope they can help me and diagnose me.
You shouldn't worry about what they'll think about you -- you should only worry if you come back positive for anything.

Jess Ive had all tests come back neg apart from herpes which I havent been tested for , Yeah im worried that they think im mad. And its driving me mad I think ive got jock itch but havent a rash or anything

We are not tarrot card readers. STD testing results can dictate what is going to happen. i.e that you'll need treatment or that you can go home.
Also, Your worried a medical provider is going to tell you its nothing? You should be worried that they are going to tell is its something.
