Where do boils come from????

My husband has been getting bolis since we began dating, they're recurrent and hegets them everywhere! I have even gotten two during our four years together. My question is are they sexually transmitted? I want to know, because he gave them to me, so did he catch them from someone, are they hereditary, or what?

boils are like a staph infection, sometime they get so bad theyhave to be surgicaly removed.

No, boils are bacterial, and some people just get them.  Does he get them treated?  If not, he should be, since they are recurring, and you have gotten them.

Its not an std.
