Whitish/Yellow discharge but STD tests all negative

Hello,

In July I began having symptoms of Chlamydia/Gonorrhea (discharge, burning, itching) and got tested at a local clinic.  Tests for UTI, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea were all negative and Doxycycline was prescribed for 1 week.  I completed the Doxycycline and my symptoms returned in approximately 2 weeks after completion.  I went back to the same doctor and was prescribed Metronizadole (4 pills taken at once) and Erythromycin for 1 week.  Again, approximately 2 weeks after completion my symptoms returned.

At this point I decided to go see a Urologist.  I took another STD tests and all results were negative again. I explained my history and all medication that I had taken previously and he put me in Ciproflaxin, 2 pills a day for 1 month.  I've just completed this course of antibiotics and am still seeing spots from discharge in my underwear in the mornings.  My urologist suggested this might just be semen or pre-ejaculate but this wasn't a common occurrence prior to becoming infected.

This cycle continues to repeat itself.  I take antibiotics, my condition improves, I complete the antibiotics and things gradually get worse. It seems I've taken many of the recommended antibiotics for Chlamydia/Gonorrhea infections and nothing has worked.  I'm frustrated, confused and am just looking for answers.  I haven't had any other symptoms.  No fever, no rashes, no illness of any kind.  Physically, I feel fine.  What could possibly be wrong with me?  Are there any other tests I should look into?

Thank you for your time.

I had the same issue all tests were negative. Here's what worked for me. Eat pears! Plain Greek yogurt and berries- strawberries, Blackberry, blueberries. At least one of these each day and you'll see the difference within a week. Worked for me. I like to mix my yogurt with berries and honey. And the pear is easy to grab and go.

I would get a sample of the discharge, this could be another infection bacterial in nature that is not a STD. Or even a prostste issue.

Age: 29/m

Both tests were urine tests.  I haven't had a swab test although my urologist did give me a container so I could collect a sample of the discharge for analysis (since it's most prevalent in the morning) if it continues to be a problem.

I don't believe I was tested specifically for Trick but the Metronizadole was supposed to take care of that.  I was tested for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea twice though.  Both times were negative.

I have had zero sexual activity since the initial infection back in July.  Since all of my tests have come back negative I'm hopeful that this is just something that will pass with time but I want to be proactive just in case something is still wrong.

Thanks for all your answers thus far.

You've been on enough antibiotics to cover all of the possible "bugs". You don't say your age, so it's hard to know if this is a new symptom, your sexual activity in relation to the discharge, all important when asking questions on a forum. I'm wonder why none of the doctors did an actual culture of the discharge? That would tell them EXACTLY what it was caused by and the treatment.

were you tested for Trick, NGU? although the meds prescribed should have taken care of it. You're going to have to continue to work with your doctor, if your test is neg. then you aren't infected with an STD. Keep an eye on your discharge and if it get worse, ie back to the amount before the cipro then return to your doctor.
