about primary stage syphilis

Hi, I have read that some syphilis infected do not develop primary stage symptoms, like chancres.
1.is it rare or common?
2.how does it happen?
3.I have received protected oral, if there is no typical symptom, does it mean I am safe?

you had protected oral sex. as we already discussed in your other post, no reason for you to be worrying like this.
