bumps on lip of vagina

I noticed 3 small bumps one on the lip of my vagina and the others are on my bikini line. I thought it might have been because I just shaved everything but now I am not sure...They are small red round bumps and when I tried to pop it white puss came out.  Is it possible it is because of shaving or an ingrown hair? Is it Herpes or and STD? HELP!!!

Don't pop them and pulling out is not going to prevent STD's or pregancy.
Bumps can be so many different things, most of the time non-STD related. Best advice is to see a Dr for proper diagnosis.

yes with 2 people one being my boyfriend who I have been active with for months now.  They both pulled out if that makes a difference.  The bumps went down in size when popped and don't really hurt except right after I pop them for a minute or so.

Have you had any unprotected sexual encounters?  It does sound more like an ingrown hair than anything though.
