butt rash

okay so i had sex with a woman i've known for years.  we're both normally very safe, and have not shown symptoms of any stds.  Even though I know that's not a definite sign that either of us have one she suddenly got a rash after our last encounter where we had unprotected sex.  At first she developed a large painful rash on her bottom and lately she has been complaining that her crotch itches.  The other day my crotch itched for a few minutes as well which i blew off as a 'monkey see monkey do' scenario.  Although the rash has subsided since the initial development, and we have not had intercourse since, she says her crotch has once again resumed itching.  Neither of us has tested positive for anything before, but we have had other partners in between the time since we've resumed intercourse.  At first we blamed the rash on her new pair of underwear which she wore from the store without washing, and the crotch itching as nothing.  However the itching was so unbearable for her this morning that we're starting to get concerned.

Have her see a Dr, itching is not a symptom of a STD.

Just calm down and relax, I was in the same situation also.
I had unprotected sex with this women i just met.
A week or 2 later I developed a painful rash on my stomach.
I went to get tested about 3 months later and suprisingly it
came back neg. Just because you have a rash doesn't mean
you have HIV but it can be another STD.
