chlymidia amoxicillin

Hi I I've recently been diagnosed with either nsu or ngu. My wife was  given amoxicillin to treat an ear infection would this also clear chlymidia if I have it. Please let me know as this is. Giving me massive anxiety.

I was given ayzinthicillin or something like that 1 dose they say it might be but I have spoken to the other person I had sex with and they are adamant they are clear. So I do not know what to think this person is so adamant as they do get checked regularly

FYI, NSU and NGU are just different names for the same thing. Chlamydia causes 30-40% of cases.

No, it wouldn't work reliably. Amoxicillin isn't effective against either NGU or chlamydia. What antibiotic was prescribed by the doctor or clinic where you were diagnosed? Were you tested for chlamydia?
