decreasing discharge with no pain

doc--

i'm a 37 yo sexually active bi-sexual male and in march i had symptoms of an std...moderate clear discharge but without pain...i went to my physician and was tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea; and given azithromycin and a ceftriaxone injection.  my discharge went away...just recently (mid july) i began having the same symptoms and went and got tested and found out while i was getting tested for this current round of discharge that the previous tests were negative for the std's tested...so the doctor tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea again but did not give me any meds as he said he wanted to see the results of the test first and since i had no visible discharge at the time of the testing he thought something else might be at play and since he had given me azithromycin and the injection previously and i tested negative for what he treated me for he indicated that one can become imune to the treatments.  so i didn't receive any treatment and subsequently went back because i was still having the symptom of sporadic clear discharge and found out that the last test that were taken came back negative for the std's tested.

so i went to another doctor and explained my situation and he advised that we should start as if it were the first episode and go from there so he tested me for chlamydia and gonorrhea and again the tests returned negative.  so he recommended that i see a urologist. my discharge has decreased over the last couple of weeks but there is still some ocassionally present (clear without pain).  i'm not comfortable with the situation and the answers that have been provided and am seeking your assistance since i have recently begun to have a mild sore throat and a rash (red raised hives) on my face, which i think might all be related...your advise would be great
ly appreciated...

sexual activity background:  before i noticed the discharge of my current situation i had protected anal intercourse with a male date in which i was the penetrator.  however, i did perform oral sex on the recipients anus.  our sexual activity ocurred on a monday and i noticed the trace of a discharge on the following friday.  in the previous episode (march), i had protected anal intercourse with a male, however, he provided extensive oral sex on me prior to our protected anal intercourse.

Has anyone done a prostate exam or a urine culture to see what grows?  That should be your next step.

see my post ("tested negative, but...")

You don't have exactly the same symptoms I had but it's similar and we both tested negative.

Did the doctor know about the hives and sore throat?  That could just be a coincidental allergy or it could be a reaction to the anti-biotic.  The doctor should be able to confirm if this is a possible reaction to the anti-biotic.

Please let us know your progress.
