epididymitis

Hi doctor,
I got epididymitis last month, then the doctor give me Doxycycline.
last week i go to check again and seem the virus is gone.
But my right side still found a lump.
Will the lump go away later? or it will stay with me forever?
And is it mean my right side is not function anymore(nfertility) because of the lump?

Thanks for your answer.
I got yellow semen first in around late Dec.
Then I discovered a lump is appear on my right testicle on jan 15.
On Jan 16, My right testicle increase twices size as normal and feel pain.
Because I have vacation in Hong Kong at that time, so i went to see a doctor.
The doctor said this is epididymis, then he gave me zithromax 250mg and monocyline 50mg for two week.
On feb 7, i came back to U.S and I go to the city clinic.
The doctor give me doxycycline 100mg (2 per day) for two week. And they check all my std test is negative.
Right now, I feel better, but my right side still have a small lump.

I got no answers for you, sorry about that, but I do have a couple of questions.

How was your epididymis diagnosed, and how long a course of antibiotics did you take, how many days and milligrams etc.?

I'd appreciate it if you could answer these questions.
I hope your lump will go away. I also doubt that infertility is an issue, since you were treated properly. Take care.
