frequnt urination after sex

man where do i start.. im only 19 yrs old and i've been suffering from this frequent urination. its been already 9 months and this all happened after i had a one night stand with a girl on febuary of 2010. i was protected except when she gave me oral sex.. now i believe this is what caused my problem. the next day i felt my urethra was tingling and had the urge to urinate, very irritating and uncomfortable. so after 1 week i went to a clinic and told the dr. about my symptoms and he said i have a uti, he said it's unlikely gonorrhea since i don't have a discharge and not also chlamydia. so he prescribed me to take oflolaxin for 7 days, 2 doses a day. i finished my course and felt a little better but symptoms reappeared immediately after 2 days. so i told myself maybe i just needed time to heal itself.. but after 1 month i still had symptoms with urge to urinate more. so i went back to the clinic and took a urinalysis but not for std. i was clean as a whistle except i had calcium oxalates in my urine. dr prescribed me cipro for 7 days, twice a day and azithromycin 1g 1 dose. it did nothing at all and was very frustrated.. and i just kind of gave up.. but after months and months the frequent urination would still be there. so i tried a hospital this time and the dr. checked my prostate which he said looked normal and he told me to get another urinalysis and a ultra sound. now he said i do not need to follow up on my std since i took all the antibiotics so i just followed what he said. now im wondering what is really causing my frequent urination? as i am typing this i went to the restroom 3 times.. + i want to add that there is this weird squishy white small spot on the left side inside of my urethra, when im erected and if i press on it, it makes a weird squishy sound but theres nothing in there..and the dr. said it didn't look anything abnormal. wtf.. this thing was never here before and i told the dr. that i think this is the main cause of my frequent urination.. dr. said just follow up on your urologist. man o man.. this ruined my life.. not only was i in a depression, i took a break from school because of this and i lost 7 pounds. i need help.. i see a lot of people with the same story as mine and has no answers. is it prostatitis? kidney stone? NGU? urethritis? std? how can i cure it? i am negative or uti.. no signs of bacteria. no discharge..just frequent urination. please help me.

correct - bacteria is the cause of ngu though also some viruses can cause it.

ok ty very much but 1 last question. will a normal urinalysis for uti also test for ngu? since i had no bacteria present, does that mean there is no ngu at all? i know you said the medication i took would have gotten rid of it but just in case. i would follow up with my urologist btw.

definitely follow up with an urologist at this point. a std isn't going to give you the symptoms you have.

well not yet but i hardly doubt that i have a kidney stone since i do not feel any pain in my back at all but they asked me to get a ultra sound but im pretty sure its gonna be stone free. do you recommend me in getting a std check up? since i never did but took the medications anyway?

i believe there is something wrong with my urethra though as if there is something stuck inside which is triggering the frequent urination. what is the best way to get my urethra checked up from the inside? will a ultra sound do? thanks grace, for helping me. i appreciate it, god bless you.

they wouldn't cause symptoms for this long. it's not likely to be ngu with all the treatment you've had either.

have they ruled out kidney stones too?

ok, thanks grace but i have 1 question. could this be NGU? since all these symptoms appeared the next day after my sexual encounter, i believe it is the one to blame for this symptoms. from my uti check up, they found no signs of bacteria so can i cancel out suspicion on NGU? and also trichomoniasis? thanks grace, your help is much appreciated.

this isn't a std causing your symptoms. continue to follow up on symptoms with your urologists to try to figure out what is going on.

I removed your other post since it was the same questions.
