genital warts

i recently found out i have genital warts, only on the anus, ive never had anal intercourse with anybody else but my las partner, my question is, what is the probability of having contracted the infection from him, and why did i not get warts on my vagina as well?

Hi I got diagnosed with genital warts of the vulva and it turned out to be  polyps, how could this confusion have happened ?.

You can get anal warts without having had anal sex ever.  Its just where the virus has chosen to present itself.

I can't say the probability of you getting this from him - I don't know how long you were together, did you use condoms, etc?  Even if I knew all that, it wouldn't be a 100% certain answer - you might never know who you got it from, and does it really matter?
