getting tested

Dear doctors and community,

I am in a central european country and want to get tested for stds. I have little money so I need to go to the student doctors and would like your advice. I want to ensure that they test me for all the possible relevant stds.

About a year ago, there were some sexual indiiscretions on both my partner and I's behalf. She had sex with some guy and might have had unprotected oral/vaginal sex or simply slept in the same bed as a gay man with chicken pox. I had protected sex with several prostitutes and for a few risky minutes was given unprotected oral sex with one. Around the same time, I started to get symptoms of possible infection (unsurprisingly, but I was naive):

small red spots on buttcheeks
hard golden/yellowish deposits in nostrils
fever/flu symptoms incl sore throat and aches
painful testicles and sore ejaculation for a few days
enlarged nodes at the side of the throat under the ears
small red dots on chest

These symptoms disappeared for over half a year. In the last few months I had protected sex with a girl and got a couple of larger spots near my groin which took about 12 days to clear and faded by drying out. I have never had spots like this. Last week I noticed two more on my shoulder that are still there. They have a little white pupule in the middle. I also have a strange scratch mark beside them which may or may not have came from the kitten in the middle of the night.

In the last few months I also saw the same partner again and we have kissed sometimes but no sex. She has had a strange sore throat for some months. I have the sore throat now and recently the nodes under the ears protruded about 1cm. I took some antibiotics which her doctor gave her and the sore throat went away. However, it is returning again as a firey sensation in the middle of my throat and sore to swallow. I have not had any of the other symptoms from last year but I am concerned about the spots which do not disappear after a few days. I need to make sure we get the correct antibiotics for this infection.

So, it is definitely time to get tested. Since I cannot afford a proper medical examination and have no private health insurance I will need to really push for them to test me for all the relevant stds. The question is: what to make sure they test for?

Thankyou for existing here and all the help you give.
Take care everyone and remember to always be careful who you have sex with.
stay with real love and you will always be safe.

certainly getting full std testing done is in your best interest to know what your status is. Your partner should also pursue full testing too.

your current rashes don't sound std related. follow up on them properly also.

other additional points I remembered:

I had many mouth ulcers around that time
I once had a small cut on the tip of my penis around that time

other relevant points are:

she got a mark on the side of her cheek (face) around this time, like a wine spill on the skin, which subsequently went away.

she recently had a vaginal infection which prevented her from having sex for some weeks with her new boyfriend, who she has also been cheating on! :/

I noticed tiny paper-cut marks at her ears a month or so ago
