is this molluscum contagiosum or something else? im worried

about 2 months ago i began to notice these little pimple like bumps in my pupic hair area above my penis but never thought much of them because i shave all the time and have had ingrown hairs before. but when i went to pop it it was a little different. i would squeez it and it would pop the head off and be like a little pearl or white ball. it would then usually bleed. i never thought much of it but then i got more. they dont hurt and dont itch very often at all. ive only been with one partner for almost a year now and hadnt had sex for 3 months or any sexual contact due to our long distance relationship. ive read that you can get it from dirty towels and i did re-use a towel multiple times over a long period of time. i also am a hockey player and dont was my equipment very often is it possible i got it from the bacteria from either of those? the bumps seemed to go away or most of them went away but now that im back with my girlfriend i have seen more and she mentioned the other day after sex that our pubic regions were rubbing quite a bit which irritated and started little bumps on her pupic area?

Sounds like molluscum.  Go visit a dermatologist. Get them scrapped off   Once there scrapped off it's done. They may recommend aldara but don't do it.  It doesn't have a good success rate. There's no telling where you got it from. I am married with kids and got it and my wife never did. Who knows!  By the way the terminolgy for scrapping off is curettage I believe.

You would have to see a Dr. Bumps can be many things and often not STD related but only a Dr is going to give you the proper diagnosis.
