long term relationship
How can I be a woman in what I think is  a long term monogamas relationship (2+ years) and only get trich now?  Is that possible that it was dormant in my partner and it has only affected me now after more than 2 years?  Please advise.

Thank you,

Hello

Weather your were asymptomatic for a while is a bit hard to say.   Usually if one is infected, the symptoms appear anywhere between 3 days post exposure to 2 weeks post exposure.

The answer to your second question is that it is unlikely.   If someone is infected (especially men) with an urethral irritating STD (trich, gono, chlamydia), the chances are -- symptoms are going to show.
