lotion and paper towls

ill try to stay straightforward, and thank you dearly for your medical judgment.

A few days ago i was aproached by a woman with intentions that i had to turn down. my limbido was not satisfied so i went to the bathroom at work and did the work my self. i washed my hands before and after but used public lotion and paper towls. in the process, i touched my penis with a paper towl to clean up.

i did not think about catching anything in the proccess but am now dearly worried. could i have caught anything from the papertowl or lotion used. thanks again for any advice or judgement.

ps. i didnt have any stds at the time of the action.

this certainly was not a risk for any std's or infections.  you also don't have to be the level of clean freak the above poster appears to be!!

NEVER use hand lotion or soap for masturbating though! they can cause a chemical urethritis.   use a good sex lube instead :)  obviously none was available at this time but something to keep in mind for the future.

Hey bud, first let me congratulate you on saying no! That's a hard thing to do in and of itself. I hope you might be saving yourself for something meaningful.
To answer your question.. "something I don't do often"
You did not catch an std washing your hands with public bathroom soap or towels. You could catch a cold or flu. But NOT an STD!!!
Sexually transmitted bugs don't live on faucet handles, soap dispensers, and such....
Fecal matter and urine do harbor them though.
But, you washed your hands and dried them after using the the facilities. You are OK.
Don't worry.
You did not infect yourself with any disease by wiping your penis with your used towel.
I do recommend that in the future, you do use a separate and clean towel, moistened, to do the job though... You could introduce a staph infection into the chafed skin of your penis after masturbating, if your hands are not washed before and after sex.
Even if it's your hand masturbating your penis "You would know by now if that happened though"
It is important to know that just splashing a little soap and water on our hands and rinsing is not the correct way to wash. Soap and water lathered for a period of 20 seconds, counting slowly is the minimum it takes to get dirt and Germs off and out of the nails, grooves of the prints and dead skin cells on the hands. The CDC recommends 2 minutes.  That's a long time standing at a sink of the office bathroom.
If you work in the public. 2 minutes is a good thing to do. One other point, I see so many men rinse there hands off. and so many who don't bother. either way.... USE a clean hand towel to open the door on your way out of the restroom...
You wouldn't believe how filthy those handles are. I know that it's not always possible. The facility might use a blow dryer or the towels might be empty.  I carry a small bottle of hand sanitiser with me. It makes a difference!
I hope this helps.
