male hot tip

For many years i've experienced this "male hot tip" Its the only way i can describe it. It only happens after ejaculation and after i've had a few drinks. Although if i remember correctly its been going on since i was a teenager and before i started drinking. Ive read a few blogs and noticed im not the only one with this irritating condition. Ive only linked it to ejaculation and urination. Alcohol really brings it on though, and since i was younger its the only time it happens. And im sick of the group joke of "Hot Tip Tim".Does anyone have the correct termonology of this condition or at least a new name for my friends to joke about! , "Hot Tip"

I don't have concrete solutions, but I can tell people from my experiences that when I have more sugar in my diet... whether it is from coffee, alcohol, soft drinks, or other foods that I have the problem much more often. If I cut out alcohol, coffee, soft drinks, and watch my diet... the problem doesn't completely go away, but it has become MUCH more -rare- and less intense.

So, I recommend.... at least trying to watch your diet for a couple of months and see if that helps.

But different people in the forums also have other ideas to try.

I am still looking for more concrete answers/solutions myself, but until then I am sticking with what seems to be helping me.

Well, alcohol irritates the urethra and bladder, so its not all that surprising that it would burn some after drinking.

Dehydration can also cause the same thing.

The only physical cause would be an inflamed prostate, and if you haven't had a prostate exam, it might be a good idea, at least to rule it out.

Its not an std, though.  You might get more ideas in the men's health forum.
