please i need to know the answer

i have a question almost a month ago me and my girlfriend had an unprotected sex and after a week i had rashes all over my groin,it was so itchy
and there was this small red dots on the head of my penis and pain everytime were doing sex,but there are no discharged
or even pain when urinating, and when i consult a doctor about this he prescribed meme to take doxycycline twice a day for 7 days
and apply clotrimazole cream and betamasone for 1 month because he tolf me that this bacteria will usually take 1 month to treat
and now it is almost a month since  i've used that medicine and i've got only 1 week and a half left although there was an improvement like the rashes,
the itchyness and the pain when intercourse were all gone, but the mild redness was still there, but it is just an ordinary mild redness (and not red dots just like from the start)
and also the doctor told me before that it was just a mild infection because my urine test was RBC 1-3/hpf and PUS CELL 2-4/hpf
so do you think that doctor is correct?what could be my disease? please help me

Yes, because of your WBC and RBC counts.

You can have both a fungal infection and a UTI at the same time.

ok i'll do that on my next appointment on saturday, but how come his findings on my urine test was UTI? because my pus cell was 5-10/hpf so if the doctor was correct on his findings that i have a UTI it only means that this is not std or fungal infection because both of that doesn't lead to UTI right? but what about the redness, is there any symptoms of UTI that will cause redness on the lower half of the head of my penis?

No, a UTI is different than an std.

Follow up with your doctor about the fungal infection and redness.

Hi i finally consulted my doctor again about this problem on my appointment last april 14 and ,,
my urine result was rbc 2-4 and puscell 5-10
the doctor told me that i have a urinary tract infection based on my urine exam
he prescribed me to take Ciprofloxacin 500mg twice a day for 10days
and i also told him that the redness of the half of my penis was still there
although it was lessen he checked it again by looking at it and he told me stop using canison clotrimazole cream and betamasone cream that he prescribed before and he told me to use mild baby soap for the redness,
now its already 7days since i took that medicine but the mild redness on the half ring of my penis was still there although
there is a little improvement but the thing is it is still there and im so nervous about it and also in addition to that i dont think this is syphilis coz my rashes before was very itchy and if this is syphilis
the rashes usually will not itched, now my question is Is there any std that will cause a urinary tract infection?
if theres any what is it? could you kindly list it down for me
what do you think is this?im sorry but im very nervous about this problem please help me i will really appreciate it thank you

1) I am sure it is possible, maybe the creme is not having enough of an effect on it.
2) Yes, that is what a lot of Dr's do. Sometimes there are no tests or testing is not needed. Dr's see a lot of things so it's not like it's the first time he/she has ever seen a rash
3)Yes some STD's have mild symptoms and some you only get some symptoms. But the only thing with a "rash" is herpes and syphilis. And herpes is actually an outbreak and it came on too quick and with syphilis the rash is in stage 2 and this also came on too quick to be syphilis.

my 3 questions is 1) i just want to know is it possible for fungal infections like jock itch or yeast infection to last for a month or 2 months? 2) and also do you think its possible that some of the doctor can already know the cause and correct diagnosis only by just looking on it (on my penis) and asking about the symptoms?coz that was my doctor did to me,just by looking on it and asking about the symptoms he already conclude that it is a mild fungal infection that i have nothing to worry about, 3) and the last is it possible for std patient to experience partial symptoms like just only itchy rashes in the both thighs and redness of penis and no pain,no discharged,at all?just a partial symptoms?is it possible? if yes what type of std, please answer even if your'e not really sure of it thanks

it will take couple of days or couple of weeks?but mine is already 1 month on this coming monday,so if its really fungal infection like jock itch or yeast infection is it possible that it will took a month or 2 months to treat? but right now i notice that there is a little bit improvement compared lastweek (the first time that i commented here),sometimes the redness in the crown of my penis head seems to fade a little bit,but not all the time coz sometimes it was there, and also do you think its possible that some of the doctor can already know the cause and correct diagnosis only by just looking on it?and asking about the symptoms?coz that was my doctor did to me,just by looking on it and asking about the symptoms he already conclude that it is a mild fungal infection that i have nothing to worry about, please answer thanks

Fungal infections are not an STD. Yes people can have a STD without symptoms. It could take a couple of days or maybe a couple of weeks to clear a fungal infection.

I'm confused as to what you want.  You need to find out from the doctor if he ran any std tests, and why he gave you the doxycycline.

I already said it sounds as if you have a fungal infection, like jock itch or yeast.  I already said I doubt its gonorrhea or chlamydia, etc.

Chances are it is not a disease that it is just some kind of bacteria. That is why you need to follow up with your Dr.

You added this question -

but i dont have any idea if he really examine it with std test devices, because he only told me that this is just a mild fungal infection but he did not tell me the exact disease whether its chlamydia, syphilis, gonnorhea, candidiasis, herpes or genital warts, and also he only based his diagnosis on what he saw on my urine test result,so is it accurate to detect std using urine exam?and also based on my symptoms do you have any idea about the cause of it?please help

My answer -

You need to find out exactly what tests he ran.  Its not sounding like gonorrhea or chlamydia, but you can ask your doctor what tests he ran, and if you had a fungal infection and took doxycycline, it probably didn't help it get better.

Continue to use the cream, but follow up with your doctor.

I would trust your Dr. If things do not get better in the next week schedule a follow up appointment. I always have to defer to what the Dr says because he/she has run tests and examined you. He/she would know better what they are dealing with.
