prostatitis from std?

almost 5months ago i had unprotected sex (it was far from my country) and after some 9days started itching, burning, red color at the top of my penis (i am sorry for my English). i was treated (that time without prove of cause) with oxytetracycline, tiberal. two times one yellow-green drop came from uretra. these medicines doesnt help much and i had pain in testes. i get amoxiciline with clavulan acid for 2weeks.

then i ve been tested (from urethra) for mycoplasma, ureaplasma, gonorrea and chlamydia - all neg and blood for HBSAG,T.pallidum and hiv - all neg.

but problems didnt stop, it effected prostate and i get ciprofloxacin for almost 1month. not much change. when i was said i am ok, and had sex with my partner, she get within 3days burning on vagina, strong need to go to toilet, discharge... after some time and one week cure with amoxicilne/clav. acid she became ok and test for std s were negative.

then we use condom all times, i went for aerobical cultivation of sperm and cultivation for n.gonorei - negative. but after another intercourse without condom my girlfriend gets same problems like before: including slightly higher temperature and vomiting, just two days after contact.

i still have bad feeling and slightly red coloured top of penis (around hole where urethra ends) and problems around prostate: burning, hard to sit.

what can case all of this??? it is very tiring and we have (and doctors too) not idea. can it be something like chlamydia or ureaplasme which was not found in results? but why? or chronical (due to bad treatment and resistance) gonorrea which is not possible to find in urethra anymore?

thanks for all advises.
P.

its me, thanks a lot for answers, pain in prostate get worse and i went to urologist today. he gave me third generation cephalosporin atb, against which resistance is not common or dont exist in n.gonorei and some others. doc says acute inflamation of prostate: nearly 6cm big. i hardly came home, took first pill (and by accident or not) i went to toilet and after discover "something white coloured long with gel consistence swimming there" - sorry for describing:)
(but i didnt pay attention from where - most likely from urethra). i hope this can proove what it is, and i will take it to microbiology.

for your questions: tests i gave just cultivation, no blood tests.

thanks again, any comments? petopeto.

some strands of ghonorrea are resistant to ghonorrea, mostly in china. IN america or in mexico u can get it fixed with cipro. U need to let the symptoms go away with time, you have no infection, U need to take bactrim for the prostate its most  likely a bacterial prostatitis, non chronic, Just bacterial, get bactrim.

Well you were tested for everything I can think of except Trichomoniasis.   The thing is, Trichomoniasis would not respond to antibiotics, so it doesn't make sense that your girlfriend would get better after that.  So I think Trich is not very likely.

What sort of tests did they use for mycoplasma, ureaplasma, gonorrhea and chlamydia?  A urine DNA test or a culture?  Culture is more likely to return a false negative.

Also, do you have a positive urinalysis?  If you have discharge, it seems like you would.

Possibly you should try something else for treatment.  Ciprofloxacin is a pretty weak antibiotic compared to some others, and resistance is more common, especially for gonorrhea. I would try treatment with a non-fluoroquinolone (Cipro is a fluoroquinolone) antibiotic.  Maybe you could try a single 2g dose of azithromycin which would cover most STDs.  Or a longer course if in fact your prostate is infected.
