But what you are describing is NOT an std. Lubes, oils, etc., getting into the urethra can absolutely present with symptoms similiar to an std or a uti, but they are NOT stds.
Gonoorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, HIV, herpes, HPV, trich, molluscum, hep b, ureaplasm, NGU, etc - those are sexually transmitted diseases or infections.
They are caused by certain viruses or bacteria. Getting urethritis from lube or oil is not caused by a sexually transmitted virus or bacteria, but can result in similiar symptoms.
To say that handjobs should be discouraged because of stds is a dangerous approach and a scare tactic.
To say that people should use caution to not get any irritants in the urethra is an appropriate statement.
Calm down, ok?
AJ
Lube irritating is not STD. I know what. My question was, the pain in the tip of the penis, and irritation of Urethra by the lube oil might produce the symptoms similar to UTI. I am not advocating this but might be the case. Look for b_baller, johnNYC, spiterit and several other people on this Forum complained about the same issue.
The onset of symptoms for UTI does not take that long, that they wont have common sense to judge, as to from which incidence the UTI occured.
As I said, everybody advocates that the STD does not occur by Handjob, but the truth is different and it need to be explored.
People are thinking that the handjob is safe. It might be true, rom AIDS perspective because of its low prevelance and nature of the spread of the disease. Handjobs should be strongly discouraged like penetrative sex. They certainly have risk.
Because of involvement of Prostate, in the process of infection, and the poor concentration of Antibiotics, in the Prostate, many men have to use longer course of antibiotics.
Lube irritating the urethra is NOT an std. You can NOT get an std from a handjob.
I'm not dismissing his symptoms. I'm simply saying that if he does have an std, its NOT from this encounter.
After you use the antibiotics its really hard to catch the organisms in Urine or blood. I am not a doctor, but from what i heard and read, UTI is hard to treat in men.
Everybody denies saying that STD does not contact through Handjob. I exactly had the same experience you have. I dont know the reason yet. May be the lube irritates the Urethra? Your claim is genuine and several people had the same experience.
The answers have come from experts and they have to explore the reasons.
well i was told it shouldnt cause the symtoms
the point being ive had a couple of urine tests, and all apparently is normal.
Not sure what else i can do.thanks to you i posted a question in both urology and std section at bargain price 15 dollards. still waiting to hear from the urology one,
I am concerned since i have read so much about thing you can get and have basically been regretting the whole thing, its like a life changing experiance,
wish i could go and play some football and do something.
If you have an std, its not from the handjob. There's no other way to say that - its just not a risk.
Its interesting that you are more worried about an std than some fluid in your stomach that shouldn't be there.
AJ
Hei
Nope i havnt had an mri scan
just a visit to the clinicx3 / urologist x2
Im trying to not touch them and just hope it will subside,
Im still convinced ive caught something as the coincidence seems pretty big
Regards
What about this fluid in your stomach? Has anyone followed up on this? Maybe more is accumulating?
Have you had an MRI to rule anything else out?
Its clear you don't have an std, so maybe you need to post this in the men's health or urology forum.
AJ
hello jessi no i had no such test
I went back to the std clinic for the 3rd time and they told me to see a phycologist as, nothing was wrong.
so i went to the urologist instead, but no one seems to be able to help
Oh and this isn't the doc forum.
Hi there -
Your testicles don't "refill" the way you are thinking, so that wouldn't be the cause. Have they tested your sperm to look for any bacteria there?
You wouldn't get an std from a handjob.
