swelling in urethra, burning after peeing --PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm a 30 year old man. Three and a half months ago i had unprotected sex with two women. I had no signs or symtoms of STD. About a month ago, my new girlfriend and I had unprotected sex. A week later she developed vaginal irritation. Most of that irritation has subsided now but she's still itchy sometimes. She's also developed a sore throat and stomach pain lately. Finally, just this week I began feeling that my penis was unusually cold at times and then it began feeling irritated, especially after cuming or peeing. I'm especially concerned about the lips of my urethral opening on my penis. They seem inflamed, but not pink. I've experienced no discharge.

I've had a doctor take a look and i'm waiting on lab results. They might take up to two weeks and i'm wracked with grief over this in the mean time not knowing whats going on.

If you have any idea of what could be causing these symtoms in me and my partner, please let me know.

I've got another question. Can I have chlamydia, but not show any symtoms, pass chlamydia to my partner, who then shows symptoms, and after having sex with her once more, get chlamydia symtoms myself? Three weeks after sex with partner i find urethra burning. she had what appears to have been a cervical infection within one week of having sex with me. a month later she's now having abdominal pain. please help

My doctor didn't think it was an std, he also suggested that it might be yeast. But unlike a lot of photos of male yeast infections online that i've seen, in my case the glans has no redness. all the pain is centered in the urethra. I've been trying to coax some of the anti-fungal cream the doc gave me down my urethra and it sometimes causes burning when i do. also i tried the spit in a glass test today and my spit didn't dissolve, suggesting yeast infection. i wonder if there are any other signs that might suggest its just yeast.

Still nothing to do with a STD. See your Dr.

Vance, its a godsend to have someone like you answering my queries. I've been so wracked with guilt and anxiety over this. I dont want to lose my partner and I feel that if I've given her something I may as well just take my own life. You're a voice to a man lost in the wilderness, so thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Still nothing that would make me really think a STD. Those symptoms are not all connected to a STD.

Thanks for the reply. I should add that I'm now experiencing regular fevers and continued discomfort in the urethra. Also i've noticed pale stools and constipation. Still no discharge but the meatus appears inflamed to me. Any opiniions about what might be causing this chain of events?

As a whole the symptoms do not sound STD related. Maybe yeast infection?
