urea plasma?

ive been bleeding for many years and not known the cause, - pap smear, ultra sounds done and they came back clear.so i had some mroe tests done and they actually came back saying i have urea plasma. The doctor said its not a sexually transmitted diease,it is caused by being run down. I have been given some anti biotics for this.
Im just wondering if its not a std, why am i readin on every site it is ? and it is transmitted sexually.

HOw could i have gotten this  ? I found out my partner was cheating on me,but i made him go and get tested - all of his results have come back clear so he doesnt have any stds or anything

To be honest i have no idea what tests were done to me! i was never told, all i read was chlyamidia and a urine one , in which every test was done during my hysteroscopy and the rest were blood tests... there was possibly about 10 tests done all up.
So if the urea plasma isnt the problem which is causing my bleeding what could be ?

Ureaplasma is a tough one.   That wouldn't be what is causing your bleeding, though.

Have you had a biopsy of the uterine lining?  That can help determine what is going on.

Here are some threads on ureaplasma -
