How long does Azithromycin take to cure chlamydia

I took the 2 pill dose of Azithromycin on Monday and I do feel a bit better but it is now Sunday and It still burns when I urinate and erections are painful. I am still having constant discharge is this normal after 6 days?  I have not had any sexual contact since i took the medication. Any help would be appreciated.

best thing to do at this point is follow up on this tomorrow ( monday ).  give the clinic a call and let them know that you aren't experiencing much relief.   You might need additional testing done to see if you picked up anything else at the same time.

I was tested with no symptons and when I started to show them I went in and my results just happened to be in and I was positive for Chlamydia. They gave me the 2 pills and I have only had about a 10-20% improvment after 6 days

Were you tested or prescribed medication presumptively.  It can take several weeks for symptoms to go away completely, but after almost a week, there should be considerable improvement.
