So i finally went to the doctor!! yay me:) Anyways she said i had a bacterial infection but she didn't say what kind or is there different kind's? She put me on something like flagyl? 500mg for a week. what kind of bacterial infection is that for? and i told her i would get these little red bump's on my inner vagina lips but they dissapeared but there is a crater looking one and another bump like it on the other side, she said she didn't she anything that look adnormal. so does dat mean it's not an STD? I guess so. but i'm still alittle freaked? i don't know why? and plus i got tested for HIV n i'm worried about that:(  since i have been looking up symptom's for it. and about 4-5 moths ago i ahd flu like symptoms like achy all over a tiny temp! i don't know about sore thorat? maybe? and i had a little rash. but my son did to but really really bad! and i think my step sister? and we all lived in the same house so i don't know but those are symptoms of hiv... so yea:( maybe i should have not tested for that?

It sounds like you have bacterial vaginitis, which is not an std.  I'm not sure about the bumps, but if you get them again, get in there and have her look at them while they are still there.

I'd say you all had some kind of flu bug.  I wouldn't worry about HIV - most people don't have it.

Oh and very very important - do not drink alcohol while taking flagyl, and for a few days after.  It can make you very sick.

Well thank you so very much with this sisuation! and My son had the rash he didn't have flu symptom's same with sister?? And also i still have one of the bumps it never goes i think but everytime i look it's there? but she said it might have been sweet glands i guess?? And another question is, for an infection like this is it normal to get these sharp stabbing pains around the vagina opening? they are real quick though last a few seconds...again thank you for you're help!!

Yes, with bv those stabbing things are normal.  They should go away soon.

I don't know what the rash is.  Maybe you all have a slight fungal infection you are sharing.  There are also lots of oil glands in the genital region.  If she thinks its an oil gland, google fordyce spots in women.  Totally normal.

That I don't know.  You should call your pharmacist and ask.
