2 small pin head bumps on penis head

by aloneonalog, Jun 12, 2007 12:00AM
6 weeks ago I had a one night encounter with a lady I didn't know.  I used a condom, but before intercourse there was a bit of her touching herself and touching my penis.

The very next morning I woke up with a discomfort in my penis region, down towards the bottom of the shaft, it was more an ache, sort of a burning feeling.  I was panicking that I had an STD so through the rest of the day, I was constantly checking my penis for any signs of an STD.  Later that day, I notice 2 very small pin-head sized sores on the edge of the head of my penis.

The discomfort in my penis lasted for about 5 days in which I mad a visit to my GP.  He did a thorough inspection and did a urine test that came back negative.  He said the sores didn't look like herpes and herpes doesn't show up the next day. He said there wasn't anyway to get a sample and they looked to be scabbed over.  He gave me Valtrex nonetheless.  He said the "discomfort" may be that I injured myself during sex.  I didn't think so.

6 weeks later, the little sores are still here.  They haven't grown or really changed.  They look like the are healing, but really slow.  Also I started to get a burning sensation and discomfort in my penis, this time it was farther up, towards the head. Not particularly when I pee, maybe at first. There was no discharge.  I returned to my GP, where he again took a urine sample and swab inside my penis and sent them to the lab.  He also took blood and sent them off to the lab for HSV, HIV and syphillus tests.  All these tests have come back negative and he is confused about what the sores are.  The burning sensation seems to be lessening each day and he thinks it may be myself worring causing this, but I don't see how.

Any ideas on what these 2 sores are and the burning feeling?  Should I see a dermatologist?
