Thank you very much psycadlicbanana. I need to be more aggressive with it.
I was told it was an STD when I first went and the second time as well and was given Steroids and then Doxycycline for 6 weeks. There is no STD or Lyme disease out there that needs that kind of treatment. Plus I am faithfully married for the last 12 years. I was told it might be post Vasectomy Sydrome which has no real diagnosis but the urologist finally gave up and classified it as orchalgia which is chronic pain. Don't stop with the urologist get aggressive and start moving down the list of specialists. At the end if their is nothing wrong it will be classified as a Pain Syndrome and at least then you will have closure.
I have had progressive now chronic pain for the last 7 months. I have a rheumatologist appointment soon to see if it is auto immune related. I start PT today to work on my walking and pain. This is starting to become an issue that has no end and I feel like I'm going crazy. I have asked the docs if I can get a script for the cane and they push me around saying it's not there department The Neurologist I saw said he would just classify it as a Pain Syndrome and I needed to see the urologist again after they said they can do nothing more and the pain center not to mention more blood work again.
Tests done: Leg ultrasound/NEG...Testicle ultrasound x3/NEG...Pelvic CT and MRI with/without contrast/NEG... Lombar and Thoracic MRI with/without contrast/NEG...Blood Test also NEG for Lyme/B12 deficiency/thiriod...Inguinal (R) Nerve Block "reduced pain a bit but came right back"
No it is not a STD, again STD's never show that soon. It takes at least 2 days as any bacteria needs to "grow" and take hold. Just like if someone sneezes on you hours later you dont have a cold it takes days for it to show.
"Especially at night or watching TV (its not as bad when I am at work or staying busy)."-When you have pain from a STD it is constant.
I never said it comes and goes. Its always there and it happenned as soon as I got back to hotel. It is an std of some kind. That is a garuntee. It's been 4 years!
STD's don't come and go, no infection comes and goes.
I wish it was anxiety. It's been 4 long years living with this infection.
STD's never show that soon, this is not going to be a STD. If I had to guess I would say anxiety.
