6 months later

at some piont in october i received un protected and gave un protected sex to a woman. Since then and directly after that(that night) i have had the following symptoms. directly after was burning during urination, since then i have had random but consistant anal pain and sores, some digestive problems, irritation around my urethra and some pretty random sores in my mouth....now i have been through the gambit of dr's.  I even had a colonoscopy done. been to the uroligest numerous times, a dermitoligest, and my primary care dr. i have been tested once for everything and the only thing that came back was an hsv-1 test. Now the problem with that is none of the dr's seem to think my situation is related to hsv-1 infact the uroligest gave me some cream Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide. Now this sometimes seems to make it better sometimes makes worse or doesnt do a damn thing. Cortisone does relieve some of the anal pain( and ive read if it was herpes it would just make it worse). Also the grastro dr said i do have a mild case of hemriods this being said these blisters are below my rectum and on has been on the area between my testicles and rectum for quite some time now. i am searching for a good stds specialist in my area and will be going to see one next week.  but doesny anybody have any idea what this sounds like have i been diagnosed wrong what COULD be going on?

Given that it didn't respond to the acyclovir, its not likely to be herpes that is causing this pain.  Your hsv1 is most likely an oral infection that you've had for years.

I'm sorry that you are feeling so badly, but hang in there and keep pursuing it.  The next time you get a sore, have it cultured to find out what is causing it.

It is not STD related. I don't see a need for you to see a STD specialist. To start most of those symptoms are not STD related and the couple that are you have said that you tested negative and the symptoms started right after. It takes a min. of 2 days for any STD symptom to start and it is constant.
