A NEW CONDOM TO PREVENT POSSIBLE STD INFECTION?

by Protector, Apr 30, 2009 04:57PM
Hi i have came accross a new condom to further prevent infections of STDs. I have herpes myself and i was wearing protection properly when i had intercourse with a woman. I noticed that my infection was located at the base of my penis and that area is left exposed by the condom. DAMN YOU TROJAN! anyway, i came out positive with the herpes virus and thats the only explanation. has anyone else had that problem?? anyway, i still love sex and would like to have it frequently but, i do have a great fear of spreading the virus so i dont. If there was this sort of 'underwear' condom that FULLY protects the penis from possible infections including the base and genital area. would anyone be interested? can someone find one? i want to have sex again without worrying too much :(

The condoms on the market are the best ones. I would talk to your Dr about it because you can have sex but it's best not to during outbreaks.

When the herpes virus is active , it's active from the site of the lesions as well as from the entire anogenital area.  In between obvious lesions, you aren't just contagious from the area you so far have gotten lesions at but from the anogenital area.

There are some companies that make a boxer short and condom type product.

Daily suppressive therapy and regular condoms will take a female partner's risk down to 2-3%/year without having to pay for any silly looking and expensive latex contraptions.

thank you for your response. i understand during outbreaks its best not to have sex at all. but, i also understand that without an outbreak you can still "transfer" the virus. yeah the underwear condom might be a bad idea lol who would want to wear that anyway.
