A UTI after not having sex for a year?

I am a 21 year old male and for almost two months now I have been getting nauseous every day, usually after I eat and when I first wake up.  It’s been getting worse and has actually kept me home from work once.  Any alcohol really makes it terrible.  Now a little over a week ago I started to feel burning when I urinated and believe I have a UTI.  I’ve never had one before and online it said the most common cause of a UTI in men is an STD (Gonorrhea or Chlamydia), but I haven’t had sex in almost a year.   I was just wondering if these two problems could be related or if there was another explanation for either of them.

Nausea is not a symptom of hiv, I do not believe there is a relation with the two.

No.  I was wondering then if something could cause both nausea and the UTI.
I also saw that symptoms of STDs usually show up within 4 months of contraction, so thats why I was wondering if the two could be connected.

not likely nausea is due to std.

have you been seen yet for your symptoms?
