A hidden STD might be inside of me, I might become sterile

Dear Doc, I would like to make my question as simple and short as possible.

What I Feel
-----------

- painful abdominal pain like a moving stone that find it difficult to move through inside the bowels. pain will only go away after toilet
and come back after I eat food(whatever food, only better on rice)
- hard stool or just gas
- everytime I eat something, stomach starts rambling
- my body itches, tingles, pricks almost everyday.
- painful needle-prickings on toes, legs, thighs and arms
- painless swellings around the anus, but heal up quickly
- right testicle is smaller than the other one and it is wrapped around a rather swollen-looking but painless soft coating that is very
soft to the touch.
- occasional needle-like prickings in the testicles.
- faint-like reaction everytime I think of eating food because of these pains
- burning leg palms
- feeling very tired in the knees
- occasional cunfusion
- had a high-risk sexual exposure about 7 years ago and we were both about 16yrs old but heard rumours the girl was raped during her childhood
- panic attacks occasionally

What I Do Not Feel
-------------------

- never had headaches
- no diarrhea
- no fever
- no night sweats
- no vomitting

Didn't you post the same question a few weeks ago?  Someone from South Africa, maybe not you--but it sound the same.  As I said then, your symptoms do not sound at all like any STD, including HIV/AIDS.  Your symptoms sound mostly psychological, perhaps related to the anxiety you obviously are feeling about your distant past  high-risk sexual expsoure.

That said, in your country lots of people who don't seem to be at high risk nevertheless are infected with HIV.  Anybody who has ever had sex in South Africa should periodically be tested for HIV, and you should too.  But I doubt you are infected, and I am sure that none of your symptoms has anything at all to do with the sexual exposure you describe.

Good luck--  HHH, MD
