Advice / Help

For over 2 months now I have been experiencing discomfort in my penis, mainly around the tip.
Irritated urethra opening, discomfort when wearing tight underwear, a tingling/itch around tip & just inside my urethra. Have had frequent urination on & off, with a burning/ warm feeling around penis too.
This all seemed to happen after receiving oral sex!

Been tested, all Negative more than once. (Also paid private)
Have been given doxycycline 100mg for 7 days early on from GP, this did nothing.
For the last 5 weeks have been wearing loose underwear which helps with the discomfort but still getting this annoying itch/tickle around penis tip & just inside urethra. I also get a stinging sensation inside the urethra mostly after peeing a few times, and dribble after peeing but not sure if I've always done this? Under my foreskin/ head I did have a red rash for two days twice while all this was going on, which my doctor said was thrush and I was given canasten cream which I'm applying.

So my questions:

1. Any ideas what could be causing these symptoms?
2. What should I tell my doctor on my next visit?
3. I have got Azithromycin, 1g. Should I take it anyway?

Itching inside the urethra is common symptom of chlamydia but chlamydia is really not something to get from oral sex and if possible you would need a "deep throat" oral where you penis was at the back of her throat. Fungal would refer to a male yeast infection or balanits

I have had a swab & 3 urine tests done (holding for more than 2 hours) all came back negative.
My Doctor gave me cirpoflaxin also for 5 days about 3 months ago, as I was peeing a lot & had a bit of urgency.

I will hold off taking the Azithromycin until speaking to my doctor again then.
What sort of fungal infection could it be? I am having this twitch/ itch inside of my urethra also.

Hi, maybe a fungal infection from the oral, as a appears topical and not something inside your urethra.

This could be NGU or something else non STD related, but you should be tested with a gram stain of a urethral smear or first void urine to help rule out NGU.   Hold off on the Azithromycin until you can discuss further testing with your doctor.  If you doctor prescribed and recommended you take the Azithro, then take it.
