Amoxicillin 500 mg caplets...effective or no?

Does anyone know if Amoxicillin 500 mg caplets is effective against ANY of the bacterial infections?

Would be Great to know.

Amoxicillin is mostly effective against chlamydia.  Against gonorrhea, chances of resistance are very high and so it is probably not effective, or at least there is that risk.  Ureaplasma would probably be cured, mycoplasma probably not due to resistance.

If you are trying to treat yourself, you would be better off to be diagnosed and treated properly by a doctor.
